Many snacks and horse treats often contain unhealthy ingredients, such as a lot of sugar (cane molasses), grains, flavorings and additives to make a kibble. Varied diet

For horses, a varied diet is very important. Originally, horses eat many more different things than we often offer them. Therefore, vary with different herbs, vegetables or fruits. Herbs such as nettles, thistles, plantain, dandelion, cleavers can be picked fresh or dried. This of course also applies to fruits and vegetables, which can be given fresh or dried as in this Veggie Treat Mix. The controlled drying process retains almost all nutrients and 1 gram of dried vegetables is equivalent to about 10 grams of fresh vegetables.
